Easter Weekend

Well, we had a great Easter weekend. Tripp had fun playing w/ his new toys and playing w/ the grass from his Easter basket. He was so cute in his new outfit. He looked just like a little man. He is growing so fast. Matter of fact, when I place his car seat in the car, his feet touch the back seat...which he loves b/c he is able to kick the seat.

Saturday me and Tripp had a day of errands. We had to look for him a sweater for Sunday b/c it was going to be cold. Finally found one on the sale rack at KMart. Then when we got home, my sister and Payton came to visit for a few minutes after Payton's t-ball practice. She really loves her little cousin so much. She always wants to hold him. Too bad she is only 5 or she would be the best baby-sitter ever! Then we went and visited with Angie and Matthew on our stroller ride in the neighborhood. Then we went to Jessica's shower. We didn't stay very long because Tripp had not had a nap all day because of all the running around and he was very cranky! After we got home, my dad came to visit. After they left Tripp finally settled down for the night and went out like a light. Poor thing was so tired.

We went to Church on Sunday and Tripp did not last very long, about 15 minutes, and then he said that was enough. I took him outside and fed him and walked him around for a bit hen we went to the back of the Church where the otehr kids were. He did fine back there. He watched a little bit of Veggie Tales and then he got tired of that so we walked around a little more. Then I laid him on his back on the table and he laughed and cooed and squealed so loud that they could hear him in the front of the Church! It was too funny. Then we went to Michael's mom's house and ate dinner. He did good for the most part and even took a little nap, but I think there were just too many people passing him around and he got a little fussy. We left there and went to see my mom and he played for a while, but I think that he was extremely tired because when we got home he ate and then passed out.

Milestone update...when you lay Tripp on his back, he can lift his head (chin to chest) and he is almost getting both shoulders up while he does this! He is laughing so much now and smiles all the time. He has started to try to roll over from his back to his tummy. He gets half-way over and then he starts laughing so he rolls back the other way back onto his back. It is so cute.

Michael is starting to feel a little better. He ventured out on Easter for dinner but he stayed out too long so he went on home to lay down. By the time me and Tripp got home, Michael was feeling a little better because he got a little power nap. He is finally starting to feel better today, he just is really weak. He went ahead and cleaned the bedroom and changed the sheets so I can finally start sleeping in the bed again. YAY!!! I am so over sleeping on the couch!

Well, that is how our weekend was. Very eventful and fun. I should have pictures soon.
